Physical DescriptionDeep amethyst lead glass; blown, cut and richly gilded. Conical bodies with straight sides flaring to long flat shoulders sloping to short necks with narrow 10-sided flanges and attached by mereses to pedestal bases with bobbin-like stems and 10-sided feet, smooth bases. Edges of feet cut with triangular facets; bodies, with all-over, flat diamonds; shoulders, with tapering pointed panels and edges of flanges with facets; all-over gild decorations including diaper of daisies and bead-circles on bodies, floral and geometric motifs on shoulder panels, and foliated scroll circuits on necks and feet.
