Physical DescriptionDeep amethyst lead glass; blown, cut and richly gilded. Conical body with straight sides flaring to long flat shoulder sloping to short neck with narrow 10-sided flange and attached by merese to pedestal base with bobbin-like stem and 10-sided foot, smooth base. Edge of foot cut with triangular facets; body, with all-over, flat diamonds; shoulder, with tapering pointed panels and edge of flange with facets; all-over gild decorations including diaper of daisies and bead-circles on body, floral and geometric motifs on shoulder panels, and foliated scroll circuits on neck and foot.
