Physical DescriptionThin clear heavy glass; free-blown, pattern-molded with applied and tooled decoration. Double stand in one piece to receive the two cruets; the stand consists of two cylindrical cups patterned in a vertical rib mold, with the ribs extending towards the underside, rough pontil mark at center; applied heavy threading around the rim to enforce the other sections of the cup; large four rib handle applied to the two cups to hold them as well as join them together; on top of handle is a cross-hatched piece; at the bottom triangular cross-hatched section as well as a small section of glass between the cups in order to strengthen the bond of the two; rigaree band around bottom of each cup.
