Physical DescriptionBeaker. Colorless non-lead glass with pale yellow tinge; bubbly; free- blown and enameled. Cylindrical form, slightly concave base with rough pontil mark; white and black enamel decoration, shaded and outlined in black: on obverse, cartouche with the Shield of Milles or carriage maker's, flanked by a man and woman; on reverse, inscription in so-called Gothic script, in five lines: "In Grossen Geluck Erhebe dich nicht, In ungeluck verzaget auch nicht, Den Gott ist der Mahn, der geluck, Undt ungeluck Wenden Kahnn". "Anno 1675"; below rim a white band consisting of two plain lines, two wavy lines and one row of beads.
