Physical DescriptionSweetmeat Glass. Colorless lead glass, of gray cast; blown, molded, and cut. Large double-ogee bowl attached by small merese to panel molded shouldered stem; the domed foot probably blown in the same mold; small rough pontil mark; decoration: flat cutting on bowl -- rim in alternate pointed and broad round scallops; on long upper curve of sides, below each broad scallop, small pointed quatrefoil on large diamond formed by lunar slices, vertical slice at pointed scallop and in space between diamonds, three facets in clover-like formation in space formed by lower sides of diamonds and a long swag; on short lower curve of sides, row of divided ovals above row of circles --; on stem, eight vertical ribs tapering from diamond boss on shoulder; on foot, eight fine ribs extending from diamond boss on dome to cut scalloped and beveled rim.
