Pairpoint sold its electric lamps as electroliers. The glass shades were mold-blown, painted on the inside, and acid-etched on the outside.

Physical DescriptionColorless glass, green and pink enamels, probably lead glass; bronze; mold-blown and enameled glass; cast metal. Mold-blown shade with raised floral pattern, completely enameled on interior surface to color flowers in several shades of pink with a dark green background, cut edge, marked "PAT>APPLIED FOR" at lower edge and numbered "82.44a". Hollow bronze base is pyramidal with buds and poppies on each of the four sides, four upcurving arms to support circular shade holder at top and inner rod to support two-bulb electric fixture fitted with new sockets. Marked underneath "PAIRPOINT MFG. CO. 5049" with "P" in a diamond; ovoid paper label with "LACQUERED/CLEAN/ONLY WITH A/DAMP CLOTH"; numbered "4.46".
