Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; (a) blown, fused while hot to sand cast section; (b) hot-worked, ground, semi-polished. Thickly blown bottle (top section) with narrow fire-polished rim, extended cylindrical neck, shoulder slopes down to cylindrical body joined while ho to inset solid (mid-section) thick disk of mottled, matte-finish glass, in turn fused hot to hollow blow bottom section with concave base forming a raised kick; rough pontil; (b) solid stopper topped with "handle" of two slightly tapered and flattened horizontal points, short straigh neck connects top to extended ground shank drilled through with narrow hole at mid-point, shank tapers in and is notched around circumference towards flat, slightly beveled, ground and semi-polished base; (a) engraved on base around pontil in script letters: "Alison (95) Berger (8)".Provenance
