Physical DescriptionRosaline, alabaster and opaline lead glass; blown, applied. A) narrow vase (a), rosaline and alabaster; lead glass, blown, applied foot. Scattered air bubbles throughout; pontil mark on base. Stamped with "STEUBEN" seal. Opaline stopper (b) has peaked top with gradual flare tapering to neck; straight plug; two applied flowers on each side. Flowers have fine dark bits/debris around edges. Most of the glass petals are clear; some are partially opalescent. B) vase (a), rosaline and alabaster, applied foot, rounded shoulder. Opaline stopper (b) has peaked top with gradual flare tapering to neck; straight plug; two applied flowers on each side. Lead glass, blown, applied foot (a), applied decoration (b). Pontil mark on base. Signed "F . Carder" and stamped twice "STEUBEN".
