Physical DescriptionPitcher. Lead glass, unusually brilliant, colorless; molded for pattern; large globular body, sides in spreading curve from small base to rounded-shoulder, narrow short cylindrical neck, tiny pinched lip; geometric pattern of wide band of diamond diapering between bands of vertical flutes, narrow band of diagonal flutes to right, one of vertical flutes, one of diagonal flutes to left; base, diamond Type XIV -- circle of sixteen deep diamond indentation around a 1-1/4" disc at center--, slightly rough pontil mark; applied, small solid loop handle with crimped end and curled tip.
