Physical DescriptionColorless, presumably lead glass, of grayish tinge; blown and cut. (a) Squat globular body with sides curving from flat base into shoulder sloping into long neck, oval upturned flange with wide lip, and inverted scallop between points on sides; applied long angulated loop handle with long tongue-like attachment on flange and upper neck and long oval end on body, notched alongside; short wide flat panels cut below flange and at top of open-back bracelet of (10) prisms on neck, one of relief diamond diapering and angled rib on shoulder; engraved foliated initial "C" on front on plain area of upper body; on lower half of body, deep horizontal flute between narrow band of blazes at top and wider one of fine finger flutes; on base, band of fine ribs at outer edge, large plain smooth center. (b) Large ball stopper, sunburst cut on top, relief-diamond band on sides, fan flutes from underside to flat knop above shank.
