Physical DescriptionVase in "Diamonds & Silver Threads" Pattern. Colorless lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Cylindrical shape, slightly flaring at base smooth top rim, band of strawberry diamonds below rim, with four cut hexagons, each with an engraved flower; a band of vertical flutes below, closely spaces vertical lines covering most of body, interrupted with two ovals, one engraved with a rose and leaves and the other with a chrysanthemum and leaves, vertical flutes below and then another band of strawberry diamonds, flat circular base engraved with a hobstar and acid-stamped with the "S" in a wreath trademark.Provenance
