Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; yellow, black and white paper board; pressed; a) cylindrical filter rod; square top with large raised bump in center, upper half of rod cylindrical, has two raised vertical lines opposite each other, there is a set of five vertically arranged bumps in between the lines on both sides, "CORY FILTER ROD" to left of one set of bumps, "PAT. DES. 114097" to right and "CORY FILTER ROD" to left of other set of bumps; squat spherical knob with rough texture separates upper and lower halves of rod; lower half tapered in to flat base; b) rectangular box for filter rod; "CORY/GLASS/FILTER/ROD" printed onto both ends; image of rod, "U.S. PAT. DES. 114097/MADE IN U.S.A.," and "FILTERS DELICIOUS/COFFEE/OR TEA/UNTOUCHED BY METAL" on first side; image of coffee brewer and instruction on making tea and coffee on second side; "CORY GLASS/FILTER ROD," and "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." printed on third side; filter rod's selling points and Cory Corp. address on fourth side.
