Physical DescriptionFragment of Bowl. Colorless; decorated in light brownish yellow. Blown; stained. Bowl: cylindrical. Rim plain, with rounded lip; wall (Th. 0.15 cm) straight, tapering slightly; it has hollow horizontal rib, 0.7 cm below lip, and it curves down and in at bottom. Decorated on outside: between bottom of rib and of straight section of wall, band of repetitive Kufic or pseudo-Kufic inscription between horizontal borders, 0.4 cm and 0.3 cm wide; on curved section, band of ovate leaves with pointed ends, apparently radiating from center of bowl.Provenance
