Physical DescriptionTransparent green over colorless; latter with two large bubbles (L. 0.4 cm and 0.25 cm) and several much smaller bubbles. Blown, applied; relief- and slant-cut. Fragment from upper body of bottle that was either roughly globular or with rounded shoulder and tapering wall. Fragment varies in thickness from 0.5 cm at top, near neck, to 0.1 cm at bottom. Upper part has relief-cut green curvilinear decoration. Lower part of fragment has slant-cut colorless ornament consisting of head and neck of animal shown in profile, facing left, with, behind neck, small part of wing or back. Animal has large diamond-shaped eye, two vertical cuts in front of eye, and muzzle indicated by three horizontal cuts.Provenance
