Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, hot-worked. Tall elongated handled basket shape; wide rim edged with four applied and pulled bits with pointed ends pulled up and free; body is deep cylinder with rounded base, opposite sides with vertical rib decoration consisting of two overlapping bits applied thick on to base then pulled up sides ending in upper third of vessel, pointed ends on each side pulled free and turned at right angle to vessel leaving paired points emerging from opposite sides, third bit is applied beginning of other two and pulled out with a short tail like a prunt leaving two points emerging from the base; short semi-circular handle arches over vessel opening, formed from thick bits pulled from each side (aligned with vessel ribs) and overlapped (two overlaid bits pulled from one side, single bit pulled from opposite); short solid applied slightly flared circular base, ground flat, no pontil; unsigned.
