Physical DescriptionColorless glass cased with transparent yellowish green; blown, cased, applied, cut, ground, and polished. Vase: conical with vertical ribs. Rim flat, with beveled edges; wall straight, tapering, base plain. Three identical ribs descend from rim to base; each has triangular cross-section, flat top with beveled edges, and three deep, parabolic cuts, also beveled, in outer edge. Inside of wall, outside of wall between but not beneath ribs cased, and one side of all flanges cased; other sides of flanges have irregular surface (like beaten metal) made by grinding and polishing. Inscribed with diamond point around edge of base: "PROV/SAMPLE "NAXOS II" EDITION 89-90 KOSTA BODA Ann Wåhlström FOR THE CORNING MUSEUM" designer's name cursive|.Provenance
