Physical DescriptionColorless, transparent smoky gray lead glasses; blown, cased, cast sections, fused while hot, cut, polished. Heavy gray (cased in colorless) conical vase with walls tapering towards flat base; two cast colorless three-sided "handles" with mottled surfaces have been applied to opposite sides of the walls and extend from base to rim, the outermost point of each handle has been cut with four deep notches creating a serrated edge; the tops of the handles and the body top have been ground and polished to an even flatness; base of body and handles are ground and polished to an equal flatness, no ponti; four small circles of white felt adhered to base; engraved on base near edge: "PROV/SAMPLE "HELIX" EDITION 89-90 KOSTA BODA (script) Ann Wåhlströhm FOR THE CORNING MUSEUM".
