Physical DescriptionColorless (with a brownish cast) non-lead glass; blown, hot-worked, cut, polished. Heavy-walled pitcher with circular opening with top cut flat, wide extended and square cut pouring lip curving down to tall cylindrical neck that tapers in slightly from opening towards body, neck is decorated with seven short cut panels with curved tops extending 3/4 around circumference towards handle joint; body walls angle sharply away from neck in a conical shape, mid-point of body has a narrow vertical band decorated with small diamond cuts that end in seven parallel vertical cuts on each side of handle joint, lower half of body is also conical in shape and tapers in towards deep base; slightly concave base has been ground out, cut with a central multi-pointed flower or star; thick, 90 degree curved handle extends from neck (just above the cut panels) and curves down to cut band of body, outside surface of handle has been cut into three unequal facets.Provenance
