Physical DescriptionAlmost colorless, with yellowish tinge. Blown; relief-cut. Fragment from upper wall of bowl (OTh. 0.3 cm). Rim plain, with rounded lip and slight bevel on inside; wall tapers, then straightens, and curves steeply down and in. Wall is decorated in relief (Th. 0.15 cm) with horizontal rib that forms upper border of frieze. Surviving part of frieze has triangular palmette projecting upward from horizontal line, which apparently supported, on right, tendril terminating in narrow leaf and, on left, unidentified vertical element. Palmette has incised details, including rudimentary volutes; horizontal line is notched; leaf and vertical element have transverse hatching.Provenance
