Physical DescriptionVery heavy transparent pale purplish-amber extremely bubbly glass with an iridescent luster on the surface; free-blown, with applied and tooled decoration. Broad almost cylindrical body with broad ring base drawn of the same gather and with very rough pontil mark, body flaring slightly at rim; one heavy pinched coil-like thread applied to the rim, two others applied to the base; around upper part of body an applied heavy multi-colored fruit-frieze (mainly apples and pears with leaves) in a festoon-like arrangement, applied to a second heavily pinched gather of the amber glass that has a rough texture and shows four lion masks.
