Physical DescriptionFragment of Vessel with Ring-and-Dot Motifs. Transparent light bluish green glass. Blown; applied, pincered. Fragment of vessel. Lower wall straight and tapering, then curving in at bottom; base plain, slightly concave; pontil mark roughly circular (D. 0.7-0.9 cm). Horizontal trail (H. 1.5 cm) was applied to wall 1.2 cm above bottom and flattened by adding pincered ring-and-dot motifs. Three complete and two fragmentary adjoining motifs survive, each decorated in relief with prominent central boss and two concentric rings; surfaces behind motifs are plain and very lightly recessed.
