Physical DescriptionBottle with Inscriptions and Ring-and-Dot Motifs. Almost colorless, with greenish tinge; several very large bubbles. Blown (two gathers); pinched. Bottle: globular. Lip rounded; mouth short and funnel-shaped mouth; neck has slightly convex profile and is wider at bottom than at top; body has diameter greater than height, with continuous horizontal seam at widest point; base plain; pontil mark irregular (W. 1.4 cm). Pincered decoration on both upper and lower parts of body. Upper part has five identical rectangular motifs (L. 2.6 cm, H. 1.6 cm), which are unevenly spaced. Each contains short Kufic inscription in relief: (possibly Husam). Lower part has seven identical circular motifs, some of which overlap slightly. Each motif consists of raised ring (D. 2.6 cm) with raised hemispherical boss (D. 0.8 cm) at center.
