Physical DescriptionClear glass with few minute bubbles and grey tinge; free-blown, enameled and gilded. Almost cylindrical body very slightly tapering downwards, pushed up base with rough pontil mark, foot ring made of same gather; on the body two coats of arms, one of Brandenburg, the other of Wurttemberg, both in multicolored enamel with crowns above the shields replaced by gilding (partly rubbed off); above the Brandenburg coat of arms are the initials: "A. M. Z. B." (for Albrecht Markgraf zu Brandenburg); flanking the shield: "1644"; to the left of the Wurttemburg coat of arms: "H. L. M. Z. B." (Heinricke (?) Louise, Markgraefin zu Brandenburg); on the upper right of the arms: "G. H. Z. W. V. D." (Grossherzogin zu Wurttemberg und Teck); (the D should be a T); quartered, gilded diamond accompanied by white dots are put in the empty spaces; two rows of white beads, below rim, white dashes on the foot ring; on the base an old catalogue number in white: "112".
