Physical DescriptionBlack non-lead glass; mold-blown, cut, gilt. Waisted neck; flared, scalloped rim; gilt line below the rim, and scattered gilt stylized clouds, insects, a snake, and foliage; bulbous band, formerly gilt, above an ovoid body, with gilt Chinoiserie decoration, a man, palm tree, fabulous bird, stylized pine tree, etc.; bulbous ring, formerly gilt, below; waisted stem with gilt decoration similar to that on the neck; hollow disk-shaped foot; ground flat bottom.
