Interpretive Notes
This pattern may have been designed by T. G. Hawkes and Company of Corning, but it was never patented. It is not surprising, then, that Mt. Washington (and other firms) produced the “Russian” pattern, since it appears to have been very popular.
Physical DescriptionColorless glass; blown, heavily cut; silver metal; assembled. Lamp cut in the Russian pattern with a circular shade atop a silver burner atop a square cut glass base. A chimney sits in the burner and the entire lamp sits in a double handled silver mount.
