Physical DescriptionClear glass with few bubbles and green tinge; free-blown, enameled and gilded. (a) Almost cylindrical body with high pushed up base having rough pontil mark and applied foot ring; enamel decoration: the double headed Empire eagle in black and white with yellow ring halos and blue orb of state, yellow crown and scepter, on the wings the multicolored coats-of-arms, on the wings two flaming symbols, more flames between shoulder and beak of eagles; on the reverse: "Dasz Heylige Romische Reich Mit Sampt seinen Gliedern ANNO 1679"; below two white ornaments, one consisting of a group of dots with an "L" below, the lower being a star; below rim a gold band accompanied by blue lines and rows of white beads, between the heads and shoulders, diamond-shaped motifs of blue and white dots.Provenance
