Physical DescriptionTable Lamp, "Paons (Peacocks)". Colorless glass, matte gray patina, metal mounts, electrical wiring and other components; mold-pressed, acid-etched, applied patina, assembled. (a) Glass lamp with square base and four-sided stem that tapers inward toward top. Four metal light bulb mounts. Exterior of stem decorated with matte gray long-tailed birds. (b) Circular glass shade with conical top. Top of shade decorated with four peacocks. Wall of shade decorated with branches and leaf sprays. (c) Circular metal washer. (d) Domed metal finial cap. (e-h) Four cardboard cylinders that fit over light bulb sockets.
