Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; lampworked. Elaborately formed ship, with tall central mast, a flag fluttering at the tip; the sides with tall triangular panels of zig-zag "ropework" ladders on either side; seven long straight sections of rigging attached from the top of the mast to various parts of the body of the ship; a wide cross mast at the top of the ropework sections, with six (three on each side) additional lengths of straight rigging attached from the tips of the cross mast to the ship; the body of the ship formed of openwork trailing, on two curving stripes forming the keel; long, tapered bow sprit, and rounded stern with projecting structure; mounted on a circular trailed openwork foot.Provenance
