Physical Description"Patriot Divided Core Chevron Swirl with Silver Mica" marble. Colorless, red, white and blue glass; mica flakes, flameworked, hot-worked. Large marble with a swirled red white and blue center with silver flakes and ribbons on red, white, and blue on the outside. The core was built up by dipping in the furnace between successive layers of either colored glass or silver mica flakes. The layered core was then dipped in the furnace and colored stripes were applied. It was then twisted between two steel punty rods, rounded, and dipped in th furnace for the final clear coating. It was then rounded using both graphite and cherry wood molds.
