Physical DescriptionColorless or almost colorless; very few bubbles. Blown; relief-cut. Fragment of beaker or bottle. Wall (Th. 0.2 cm with decoration, 0.1 cm without decoration) is straight and descends vertically or almost vertically. Decorated in relief with two horizontal ribs, which form upper and lower borders of frieze (W. 4.7 cm). Frieze contains part of standing bird seen in profile, facing left. Its neck is hatched; body is narrow, with breast and belly defined by notched line, and with broader, partly notched line indicating back; wing, extended above body, is indicated by curving notched line that terminates in hatched half-palmette; leg is suggested by cusp in contour of background; foot or perch is indicated by arc-shaped notched line, higher at center than at edges.Provenance
