Physical DescriptionTazza. Colorless. Blown; enameled, gilded. Large, curved bowl flaring to outfolded rim; high pedestal foot with cylindrical upper part, infolded rim, and pontil mark. Around bowl, wide frieze of scale pattern (eight rows) in gold, outlined in white; each scale contains three beads: one red, one green, and one blue. Frieze is accompanied, above and below, by gilded lines and dashes; lines have row of red dots or beads. Groups of three white beads frame decoration below rim and at lower body. Around lower foot, wreath in reddish brown and white enamel, consisting of continuous stem with small buds resembling those of lily of the valley.
