Physical DescriptionFragment. Transparent purple, with few small bubbles and one stone (L. 0.5 cm); opaque white trails. Blown; trailed, dragged, and marvered. Fragment of bowl. Rim rounded and slightly thickened; wall curves down and out to greatest diameter, then tapers. Decoration: thick trail on top and outside of rim, and narrow trail wound spirally eight times around top of wall; at and below greatest diameter, wall has marvered trail wound at least nine times round circumference; all but uppermost circuit was dragged diagonally to produce appearance of twisted ribbons or rows of adjoining lozenges.
