Physical DescriptionFragment of Beaker with Polo Player. Almost colorless, with yellowish tinge and small, elongated bubbles slanting down from right to left; decorated in red, light blue, and white. Blown; enameled. Fragment of beaker. Wall (Th. 0.15 cm) is straight and tapering. Decoration consists of head and torso of man drawn in very thin red lines and partly filled with light blue and white. Figure is half-turned to viewer’s left; his face has outline, eyebrows, eyes, nose, and mouth drawn in red, without additional colors; he wears turban indicated by parallel white stripes and long-sleeved light blue garment adorned with white spots; his proper left hand is raised, and he grasps thin, straight object - presumably shaft of polo mallet. Unidentified objects in background are outlined in red, but not colored.
