Physical DescriptionSculpture, "Flower". Glass, gold leaf; fused, cut, and polished. Abstract cut glass form with a columnar green base and striated gold midsection that splits into two sharp peaks at the top. The work evokes a flower bud opening. A piece of red glass is fused into the top section, creating a line between the two peaks; another piece of red glass is fused into the green base. The sculpture was made by fusing strips of gold leaf between float glass and later cutting and polishing the amalgamated piece.Provenance
