Physical DescriptionClear very bubbly glass with a slight yellow tinge; surface partly cloudy from interior; some very slight peacock iridescence, few spots of brownish weathering; free blown and mold blown and pattern molded; spreading foot with very wide infolded rim to form a double wall, very rough pontil mark, short stem consisting of two and a half knops with tears, oval body tapering at top to slender double curved vertical neck terminating in a saucer or boat shaped spout with pinched elongated pointed end; at the body there is a mold blown pattern; around the body a row of almond-shaped motifs pointed upwards accompanied at top and bottom by dots, the upper and lower body decorated with a frieze of ribs in high relief, the upper ones vanishing into a narrow spiral rib pattern extending two thirds up the neck.Provenance
