Physical DescriptionPair of Pole Screens. Stained and enameled colorless plate glass, mahogany, gilded brass; assembled. Two circular reverse-painted glass panels mounted in brass frames with cotton(?) rope; each frame has a brass handle at top. Panels mounted on brass and mahogany stands with mahogany bases and three carved scroll feet. Each panel depicts a classical countryside landscape with architectural ruins: one with dogs, and a young man riding a white horse, and the other with two shepherds tending cattle.
