Physical DescriptionPossibly Fragment of Ewer. Transparent green over colorless; both with few very small bubbles. Blown, cased; relief-cut. Fragment from wall of ewer(?), which is straight and appears to have wider diameter at bottom than at top. Decorated in relief (from top to bottom): at highest point, trace of horizontal rib (?), and 0.7 cm below this, distinct horizontal rib, both cut in colorless glass; 0.8 cm below rib, almost vertical panel (H. 4 cm, W. 1.3 cm) consisting of three contiguous oval motifs shown in outline, each containing oval motif with pointed ends, also shown in outline, with solid semicircular projections at junctions of each pair of large ovals, all in green glass; to left of top of green panel, trace of indeterminate motif. Entire exterior surface shows signs of coldworking.
