Physical DescriptionTransparent gold ruby, with few impurities and minute bubbles. Blown, engraved; gilded silver mounts raised, chased, cast. Scent bottle. Pear-shaped body with applied sloping foot or foot-ring(hidden by mounts), engraved with narrow pattern of intertwined tendrils and branches with blossoms, with three birds perched along central line; above this, roughly executed wreath with triple leaves. Mounts:
raised, gadrooned band and serrated edge enclose foot of glass vessel; on top, collar attached to rim with screw top that was cast with gadrooned shoulder and (later?) applied rosettes on top. Mount on foot
has Augsburg silver mark and initials “E A.”
