Physical DescriptionColorless glass, perhaps with yellowish green tint, with light purple, translucent trails; blown, applied. Shallow bowl. Rim plain, with rounded lip; wall curves down and in; base shaped like disk, possibly made from separate gather; trace of pontil mark. Applied decoration consists of (1) continuous horizontal trail on upper wall, just below rim, tooled to form four equidistant, horizontal triangular lugs; (2) continuous trail drooped onto upper wall and wound in descending spiral more than four times around wall; (3) continuous band of trails, apparently beginning as continuation of (2), tooled to form 13 or 14 adjoining diamond-shaped motifs.
