Physical DescriptionFooted Jar. Bulbous, slightly conical bowl with pronounced shoulder and conical neck with fire-polished rim; joined by glue-bit to mold-blown ribs, flattened knop; attached by glue-bit to replacement pedestal foot. Deep mold blown decoration on bowl consists of two pairs of dragons bound together at neck but looking backward; their long tails or legs, which are also bound together, end in volutes. Vertical motifs to which tails or legs are bound are surmounted by crown with cross; along shoulder, frieze of flutelike ribs.
