Physical DescriptionTranslucent blue glass, bubbly, with colorless inclusion in rim; cast, sagged over mold, ribbing tooled, ground, lathe-cut. Shallow bowl; rim rounded by grinding; wall tapers, swells slightly then curves sharply inward to plain, slightly hollowed bottom; fifty ribs on exterior running from swelling to bottom; on interior, broad lathe-cut groove shortly below rim and two concentric grooves between greatest diameter and bottom; interior and top of exterior smoothed by grinding.Provenance
