Physical DescriptionTransparent; blue-gray tint; colorless non-lead; aluminosilicate; borosilicate; mold-blown, by machine; pressed; a) cylindrical shaped pot; machine finished rim with pinched lip; 2cm wide raised ring of glass around body circumference 0.5cm down from rim; just below raised area is a depression (or channel) 2cm wide; hardwood band wrapped around channel,; handle attached to band with screw, top of handle extends horizontally from pot, end of handle vertical and unattached; body of pot rounds out from channel, then is straight-sided before rounding in at very bottom; flat circular base; b) cylindrical shaped lid; flange knob; lid domed; rim of greater diameter than cylindrical insert; "8126C" and "A-J" molded into insert; four bumps inside raised scalloped edged circle in center of lid's underside, "PYREX" and on opposite side "MADE IN U.S.A." molded into underside near outer edge ; insert has two flat semicircular tabs, one opposite the other; c) thin cylindrical tube with wide circular base; machine finished rim; knob about halfway down stem from rim; domed base with machine finished rim; molded PYREX trademark and letters "E-D" on base bottom; d) cylindrical shape open at top and bottom, short neck widens to body at shoulder; machine finished rims; e) circular aluminum filter; shallow dish with straight sides; rim of dish has three upright tabs, tabs' ends are bent out; dish bottom mostly flat, bottom shaped into concentric circles and perforated with tiny holes.
