Physical DescriptionIlluminated Surtout de table, "Oiseau de feu" (Table decoration, "Firebird") with Bronze Base. (a) Colorless glass; mold-pressed, acid-etched intaglio design. Solid half-disk glass top with circular base that fits into bronze base. Glass decorated with nude woman with elaborate wings and feathers and bird talons perched on arched bow. (b) Rectangular bronze base decorated with butterflies. Base outfitted with electrical cords and light bulb socket. (c) Light bulb.
