Physical DescriptionMultiple-layer glass: inner layer of colorless soda glass; middle layer of amethyst glass of high lead content; further cased in opaque gray soda glass; blown and manipulated. Low bulbous body tapering to slender cylindrical neck; small suggested spout, body further tapering toward flat base; applied solid handle of colorless glass; ground pontil mark revealing transparent amethyst layer.
