Physical DescriptionFragment of Bottle. Colorless, with yellowish tinge; many bubbles; decorated in gold and red. Blown; gilded, enameled. Fragment of perhaps globular bottle. Upper wall (Th. 0.15-0.3 cm) curves down and out. Decorated on outside with part of register containing at least seven horizontal rows of very schematic gilded fish with red outlines. Uppermost row (1), perhaps near bottom of neck, probably contains fish swimming from right to left, as do rows (3), (5), and (7); rows (2), (4), and (6) have fish swimming from left to right. Each fish has hastily drawn oval body, one pair of fins, fan-shaped tail, and perhaps eye and lateral line.Provenance
