Physical DescriptionSculpture, "Memory's Paradox". Colorless Corning Code 7056 borosilicate glass and Kovar iron alloy; blown and hot-worked. Tall, cylindrical vase incorporating Kovar, weighing about 50 pounds. The two glass bubbles that comprise the vase were joined at the shoulder with forged Kovar squares using an incalmo technique. Kovar frit was picked up onto the lower portion of the vase as a decorative element.Provenance
