Physical DescriptionAlmost colorless, with yellowish tinge; few minute bubbles. Blown; relief-cut. Fragment of bowl. Rim plain, with rounded lip and bevel (W. 1.6 cm) on inside; upper wall (Th. 0.3 cm with decoration, 0.1–0.15 cm without decoration) almost straight, tapering at top and curving slightly inward at bottom. Decorated in relief with horizontal rib, 2.1 cm below lip, and part of frieze containing Kufic inscription, in which raised parts are accented with shallow cuts parallel to edges or transverse hatching.
