Physical DescriptionCantir. Pale amber glass with some iridescence and patina on inside and with cobalt blue trim; free-blown, with applied and tooled decoration. Inverted pear-shaped body tapering to large knop-like bulge above applied small conical foot with narrow underfolded hollow rim and small pontil mark; slender vertical tube drinking-spout with wide opening into body at shoulder and opposite large filling-spout; at center top, applied ring handle with stemmed bird-finial and, along sides, blue cockscombs; applied blue cockscombs along edge of shoulder on sides and amber cockscombs flanking bases of spouts and continuing halfway down body; blue color on lip of filling-spout.
