Physical DescriptionTransparent light amber glass; free-blown, pattern-molded, with applied decoration. High pedestal foot with pontil mark, vertically ribbed flattened knop, boat-shaped bowl with spout at one end and ear-shaped handle at the other; applied decoration: two rigaree bands around lower body with six lion mask applications in blue glass, similar application at lower spout; rims in blue glass applied to foot, spout, and bowl, onion- shaped and vertically ribbed stemmed knop applied to handle with ribs being in blue glass, canopy-like thread configuration surmounting the boat, consisting of three zig-zag ribs forming an arch, the central zig-zag thread being of blue glass, finial in form of a dragon consisting of a vertically ribbed coil with head, applied comb, eyes, etc.; spiral of blue glass wound around the body of the dragon.
