Physical DescriptionFavrile Vase. Translucent and opalescent green/amber dichroic glass with swirling striations of cream-colored glass that creates a marble or agate appearance; blown, cut. Shouldered vase with waisted neck and wide rim. Exterior of vase decorated with three broad bands of cut panels: the upper two bands of panels are slightly concave, whereas the bottom band is slightly convex. Two narrower solid bands separate the three broader ones, and a similar narrow solid band forms the rim.

Lillian Nassau gallery acquired the vase from a Connecticut-based collector whom the gallery has worked with over the past two decades. The private collector acquired it through an estate sale in New England, and no further details are known.
